Co-Founder

Ieman El-Mowafi dedicated her career to help bridge the gap between data and action, research and strategy, and communities and institutions. And always, with social justice at the core.

Ieman specializes in mixed-methods research, system strengthening, and humanitarian strategy, developing localized, evidence-driven solutions that challenges power structures and centers community voices. Her work spans women and global health, development, and philanthropy, shaping policies and programs that prioritize equity, dignity, and impact over one-size-fits-all approaches.

Guided by a shared purpose.

Nura and Ieman met in a brewery overlooking the Jordan Valley. Nura was living in NYC at the time, but was visiting her sister. Ieman had just finished a project in Amman and had arranged a going away event, where the two first crossed paths. That first day they met, Nura and Ieman dove right into their hopes and dreams. They spent hours talking about humanitarian aid work, education, change, and how they wanted to help make a difference in the world.

Over the next few years, Ieman would travel to NYC and would meet up with Nura when she was in town. She eventually moved to the city just in time for the pandemic to hit. Nura and Ieman watched the world change and talked about how their careers had shifted over the years. They talked about their dreams, and hoped to build their own businesses.

5 years later, they saw how AI was changing the landscapes they had been working in, and they decided to take the leap together. Nura and Ieman created Tarid Change in 2025 to support leaders in women's health as they navigate change.

Above all, Nura and Ieman are deeply passionate about engaging with their community. Whether you’re a prospective client, or a changemaker looking to connect, please feel free to reach out and have a conversation.
